Terms and conditions prize draws – Finance Professional Show

  1. The Organiser of the prize draws for the Hawksmoor Restaurant Voucher and the Wine and Cheese hampers (the terms and details of which are set out below) (“the Draws”) and Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is OneSavings Bank plc or one of its subsidiaries (including but not limited to InterBay Funding Limited t/a InterBay Commercial and Charter Court Financial Services Limited t/a Precise Mortgages), registered office Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’).
  2. Any correspondence in relation to the Draws should be sent to the following email address: events@osb.co.uk
  3. The Draws are open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as a mortgage intermediary.
  4. The Draws are free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter.
  5. The Draws will open at 9.30am on Wednesday 10 November 2021 (the ‘Opening Date’) and close at 4.30pm on Wednesday 10 November 2021 (‘the Closing Date’). Entries received after that time will not be considered.
  6. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind. 
  7. There are different prizes available for each of the Draws, as follows:
    1. Draw A - £500 dining experience Hawksmoor Restaurant Voucher
    2. Draw B – Wine and Cheese Hamper
      1. (together the ‘Prizes’)
  8. Entrants should refer to the terms and conditions of any prize provider before entering the Draws. The link below sets out the terms and conditions for the provider of the Hawksmoor Restaurant voucher.  The Organiser is not responsible for the contents of the food or any issues relating to the booking or use of the Prizes.

  9. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser.
  10. To enter the Draws, entrants must:
    1. Visit the Organiser’s stand at the Financial Professional Show; and
    2. Have their event lanyard scanned by the Organiser’s Specialist Finance Account Manager or hand their business card to the Organisers’ Specialist Finance Account Manager.
  11. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 10 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the Draws.
  12. Entrants accept that (i) if they successfully enter into Draw A they will automatically be entered into Draw B, details of which are set out below and (ii) entrants can only be entered into Draw B if they have entered into Draw A.
  13. Only one entry per entrant can be entered into Draw A and the draw for the appropriate region for Draw B. Multiple entries from the same entrant will be disqualified. The winner of Draw A cannot also be a winner of Draw B. If the winner of Draw A is also drawn as a winner of Draw B, another winner for Draw B will be selected. 
  14. The winner(s) will be chosen on 16 November 2021 by using a computer process that produces verifiably random results.
  15. The winner(s) will be notified by email no later than the 24 November 2021 and must provide an email address or postal delivery address for their prize to be delivered. The prize will be sent to the email or postal delivery address provided by the winner. Should a winner fail to provide their email or delivery address within 14 days of being contacted by the Organiser, the Prize(s) will be forfeited.
  16. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraphs 3 & 10 will have an equal chance of winning the Draws.
  17. The Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable.
  18. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw any of the Prizes or substitute for one of equivalent value if for any reason beyond its control the original Prizes becomes unavailable. Any changes will be displayed on the Organiser’s internet pages. Other than for the reasons set out in this paragraph 18, the Prize(s) will be those provided to the winners and no alternative Prize(s) will be available.
  19. The Organiser may select an alternative winner if the relevant Prize(s) is declined by the winner or if the winner forfeits the relevant Prize(s) by failing to comply with the terms of this Draw.
  20. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Draws are final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  21. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Draws at any time without notice.
  22. By entering the Draws, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions
  23. The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode, business name and occupation) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Draws.

  25. The entrants and winner(s) may be asked to take part in reasonable event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The entrants and winner(s) will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.
  26. If any entrant and/or winner wishes to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at events@osb.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.
  27. The winners surname and county of residence will be available 14 days after 7 October 2021 by emailing the following address events@osb.co.uk.
  28. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  29. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  30. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Draws.
  31. Draw B – Wine and Cheese Hamper Draw
  32. For the avoidance of doubt, all terms of  Draw A - Hawksmoor Restaurant Voucher set out above, apply to this draw (‘Wine and  Cheese Hamper Draw) save for paragraph 7 above which should be read for the Wine and Cheese Hamper  as follows:
    1. A cheese and wine hamper is available for each winner of Draw B (“the prizes”). Draw B consists of 5 separate draws and entrants to Draw A will be automatically entered into one of the 5 separate draws for Draw B according to their place/region  of work as specified below.  There will be one winner for each of the 5 draws and each winner will win one of the prizes. Specified regions are as follows:
      1. London and Greater London
      2. South, South West and South Wales
      3. North and Midlands
      4. South Midlands, East Midlands and M4 Corridor
      5. South East and East
  33. The Organiser is not responsible for the contents of the food or any issues relating to the booking or use of the prizes.
  34. Only one winner from each region will be randomly selected and awarded one of the prizes.
  35. The winner of Draw A cannot also be a winner of Draw B.  If the winner of Draw A is also drawn as a winner of Draw B, another winner for Draw B for the relevant region will be selected.
