Terms and conditions for ‘Intermediary Survey’ prize draw 1

  1. The Organiser of the Draw (‘the Draw’) and the Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is OneSavings Bank plc or one of its subsidiaries registered office at Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’). Any correspondence in relation to the Draw should be sent to the following email address: Edwina.townsend@osb.co.uk.
  2. The Draw is open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as mortgage brokers.
  3. The Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter, however internet access is required.
  4. The Draw opens at 9am on Thursday 17th March 2022 (“the Opening Date”) and will close at 5pm on Friday 25th March 2022 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after that time will not be considered.
  5. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind.
  6. Only one Prize is available;

  8. The Organiser is not responsible for any issues relating to the use of the Prize.
  9. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser.
  10. To enter the Draw, entrants must complete the survey here: https://kwiksurveys.com/s/1SgMfvUS. The link will also be emailed to subscribers of the Financial Reporter and Mortgage Strategy mailing database.
  11. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 10 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the Draw.
  12. Only 1 entry per individual can be submitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
  13. The winner will be chosen on Monday 28th March 2022 by using a computer process that produces verifiably random results.
  14. The winner of this Draw cannot also be the winner of Draw 2 (https://kwiksurveys.com/s/jwQRfsSQ). In the event the same winner is drawn for this Draw as Draw 2, another winner for Draw 2 will be selected.
  15. The winner will be notified by email no later than Tuesday 29th March 2022 and must provide an email address to Edwina.townsend@osb.co.uk. The Prize will be sent to the email address provided by the winner. Should the winner fail to provide their email address within 14 days of being contacted by the Organiser, the Prize will be forfeited and the Organiser shall be entitled to select an alternative winner.
  16. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraph 10 will have an equal chance of winning the Draw.
  17. The Prize may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable.
  18. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the Prize or substitute for one of equivalent value if for any reason beyond its control the original Prize becomes unavailable. Any changes will be displayed on the Organiser’s intranet page.
  19. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  20. The Draw is not open to employees of the Organiser, or any of their families.
  21. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Draw at any time without notice.
  22. By entering the Draw, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  23. The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode, and business name) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Draw.

  25. The winner(s) may be asked to take part in reasonable post event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The winner(s) will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.
  26. If any entrant and/or winner(s) wish to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at Edwina.townsend@osb.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.
  27. The winner’s surname and county of residence will be available 14 days after Tuesday 29th March 2022 by emailing the following address Edwina.townsend@osb.co.uk.
  28. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  29. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  30. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Draw.
